Purpose of Research
To look at how symptoms of depression might show up in adolescents with ADHD and/or ASD
Who Can Participate?
Any adolescent with ADHD and/or ASD between 12 – 18 years of age, along with their primary caregiver. We also need adolescents of the same age that are typically developing. You do not need to have depression to participate in the study. In fact, it is very important that we get adolescents who are NOT depressed, as well as those with depression.
What is involved?
The researcher will send you a Zoom link for the study when you have agreed upon a time that you are available. The primary caregiver will go first, and answer about an hour’s worth of questions about the adolescent’s symptoms (if any) and what they think causes those symptoms. Then the adolescent will go, and after playing a quick game online with the researcher, will answer about 20 minutes worth of questions about any symptoms they may or may not have. When you are all done, the research will send you each a $10 gift certificate for Amazon.
Location of Study: The study is completely online, an interview is done over Zoom.
How Can I Join This Study? Contact the researchers to set up a time to get the interview over Zoom.
