Daphne Pressman holds a Master’s in Child Study and Education from the University of Toronto. A married mother of two, she and her entire family share Autism and ADHD diagnoses, giving her both personal insight and professional expertise to help families navigate education and community systems.

Parent consultation is a specialized service for parents raising neurodivergent children. While many services work directly with your child, I support the parent in navigating the experiences, questions, and challenges that arise as they understand, support, and advocate for their child.

March of Dimes Canada (MODC) is a national service provider working alongside people with disabilities in Canada. We provide attendant care and supportive housing services, home and vehicle modifications, skills development and education, employment services, advocacy, and more.

Move Learn Grow – an early childhood education program (available in Toronto only) with weekly classes for children and families ages 0-16. SkillingUp – a free digital skills training platform offering personalized training and support for people with disabilities to feel confident in their digital skills. SkillingUp provides online, self-paced learning opportunities for beginners, intermediate, and advanced users across Canada.

Project SEARCH – an innovative school-to-work transition program offering students with developmental disabilities in their final year of high school up to 700 hours of work experience with trusted employers. Paving the Path to Work – a free six-week program that helps participants explore the possibility of working and volunteering. Participants learn about important skills, including communication, time management, and confidence building. Lessons also focus on how to identify strengths and potential barriers. In person sessions available in Hamilton, London, Niagara Region, Peel Region, and Toronto. The HIVE - a free, recreation-based program for young adults with disabilities (ages 17-25) looking to be independent and build social skills. Participants meet once a week in a welcoming, inclusive online community where they can socialize, have fun, and build friendships! Rec and Connect - a free youth program in Toronto for teens and young adults (ages 17-25) looking to build social skills in a supportive group setting. Participants will meet in person once a week and explore a variety of recreational activities, from art and storytelling to games and team challenges. The goal is to make friends, build confidence, and have fun.

ADHD Advocacy & Resources with AI tools. Provide tools that help young ADHDers manage their ADHD or plan to get diagnosed.

We support all age groups through providing Psychoeducational Assessments, ADHD Coaching, Academic Tutoring, Academic Strategy, Adult Academic Program, and Employability Coaching. We also help with grant proposals and Assistive Technology support. The coaching experience will Help to: manage life skills; make decisions and achieve goals; develop successful strategies that work; seek positive changes; collaborate, communicate and develop self-awareness; teach time management; decrease stress and the feeling of being overwhelmed; and, arm clients with a toolkit of skills needed to manage ADHD.

apfa has 30 years of experience offering programs and services that address the expressed needs of parents, children, and youth, and actively engage them in strengthening their connections. apfa offers Parent Education, Home Visitation, Early Childhood & Youth Programming as well as Family Support. We are the Hub and have four spokes in the Parkland and West Family Resource Network (funded by Alberta Children's Services). Our catchment area is Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Parkland County.

We provide Early Learning Programming and offer prenatal support. All our staff are Brain Story Certified and trauma-informed. We utilize strength-based language in all our service provision and begin all services from a strength-based lens.

1. Monthly Support Group- year-round, in-person, last Wednesday of every month, in partnership with Little Oaks Psychology Clinic

2. Workshops and presentations- offered monthly on various ADHD related topics, in-person & virtual.
