Are you struggling to understand and navigate your childโs new ADHD diagnosis? Do you feel overwhelmed with all the information and unsure what to believe? This three-week introductory program will help you learn what ADHD actually is, and how it can affect your child at home and school. The course aims to teach parents and caregivers the basics of ADHD and strategies to help manage adverse symptoms.
This 3-week program is meant to be a first step for parents with a newly diagnosed child or for those who's child has been flagged for possible ADHD at school. It will explain the basics of the condition, along with how it may be showing up at home and school. It will provide parents with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of their child, as well as opportunities to share their experiences with other parents.
Topics include: ADHD symptoms, executive functioning, how ADHD affects the family unit, social impairments caused by ADHD, IEPs, and strategies to address problematic behaviours

Please note that this program will be offered 4 times every year. This program is a good intro to ADHD in children prior to taking our REFOCUS program.

Tiffany Theofilos is a certified professional coach by the JMEC Institute, with an advanced specialization in ADHD coaching with ADDCA. With over 15 years of experience in supporting people with ADHD, learning disabilities, and executive difficulties, she coaches parents and their children to better understand ADHD, develop tailored strategies, and turn challenges into opportunities for fulfillment.
As a passionate educator, Tiffany has mentored neuro-diverse students at all levels, from kindergarten to high school, adapting her teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each student. Having been diagnosed with ADHD herself as an adult, she understands the unique challenges families face. Its mission is to provide families with practical tools to strengthen harmony at home, encourage success in school and in everyday life.
