Patient and Family Guide to Antipsychotic Medication

For those parents whose children have been prescribed antipsychotic medication such as:

• aripiprazole (Abilify)
• olanzapine (Zyprexa)

A useful resource developed by the BC Mental Health and Addiction Service just came to my attention. This booklet entitled “Patient & Family Guide to Second-Generation Antipsychotics” provides information on side effects and how to monitor them as well as general lifestyle tips.
