This study is researching a Health Canada-approved medication called Vyvanse, to find out how it works in children 6 to 12 years of age with ADHD and autism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Who Can Participate?<\/u><\/strong><br>Boys and girls, 6-12 years of age with a diagnosis of both ADHD and ASD-level 1, who can attend in-person appointments in Ottawa, Ontario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>What is involved?<\/u><\/strong><br>Eligible participants will be seen by a doctor and receive all study-related exams, care, and medications at no cost. Your child will be in the study for about 3 months, with 7 on-site appointments in Ottawa, Ontario. The medication will be prescribed by the study doctor, and your child will take it once a day. Your child will have regular check-ups with the doctor to determine how the medication is working and evaluate any possible side effects. Your doctor may continue to prescribe this medication upon completion of the study.
