October is ADHD Awareness Month
Every year in October, ADHD Awareness Month, gives Canadians an opportunity to become more aware and educated about ADHD. Awareness Month provides an opportunity to disseminate reliable and fact-based information that educates and helps clarify the myths about ADHD. It allows for the release of policy papers highlighting current issues that impact those with ADHD, draw media attention to these issues and put ADHD on our elected officials’ radar. It also allows for the voices to families and individuals affected by ADHD to be heard. Every year in October countries around the world draw awareness to ADHD.
There are plenty of opportunities to spread the word during awareness month, check out our current advocacy campaigns!
