Classroom Accommodations and Teaching Strategies

 Use this chart to identify specific difficulties for individual students caused by ADHD and executive functioning impairments.  Once areas of need are identified use the chart to find appropriate corresponding classroom accommodations and teaching strategies. There is no perfect accommodation for a given difficulty. A system of trial and error will need to be initiated in order to find the strategies and accommodations that work best for a particular student. Parents may be a good resource for identifying accommodations that have been useful when dealing with these impairments at home. READ MORE
